Something Old.

I hoard things in both RL and SL for the day when they will be stylish again etc (it never happens btw) so when I saw this challenge I was all over it.

I have gone waaay back to the first 'quality skin' I ever purchased in SL, it was from Naughty. I remember tp'ing back and forth looking at how many lindens it was, deciding not to spend that much 'real' money in SL. I finally got the skin on December 10 2007 (thank you right click properties) and I thought I looked awesome.

Last Call was brought to my attention when I saw a very nicely dressed avi at PhatCats and politely asked her where her clothes were from.

The next day I tp'd over to Last Call, my eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw A. the size of the store and B. how great the clothes looked. I thought this trouser suit (January 14 2008) was the height of sophistication. It was a very sad day when Last Call finally closed it's doors.

 Everyone shopped at ETD and Yay Elika Tiramisu is back again. I loved the naturals pack that had black blonde brown and red included as I changed hair colour a lot back then (wish more hair designers would do this)

When ETD closed I think I must have bought every style I didn't already have plus shoes and boots and clothes. The sim was so full avis were tp'ing as close as they could and waiting to force their way in.

The jewellery I am wearing was from a Christmas hunt in 2007 at Second Mirage, I checked and they no longer have a store in world. I haven't even looked at this jewellery for ages and you know it's still great, I am going to start wearing it again.

I don't have many 'old' eyes but I did find a freebie pair I got from Skin Within which has re-branded so technically an old item.

Awww I feel all nostalgic now for people who I knew when I regularly wore this.

DAMN! I have no idea why I have 'posted by' icons on every line grrrrrrr and It's too late to try and sort it out now..so ignore them please and I will try to get rid tomorrow.
